We called in to do a pick up order. We were very happy with our order. It is definitely an older building inside and out, but it is very well kept. It has the classic diner vibe. I had called in to order a plate of spaghetti with marinara sauce. It also came with a cup of beef barley soup. The soup was for my partner, and she loved it. She said it was nice and thick, plenty of meat, and lots of. Flavor. There was plenty of barley, and it was at just the right texture. The cup of soup alone was enough for one meal for her... The plate of spaghetti was massive! I wish I would've gotten a picture. The pasta was perfectly al dente. There was a very good amount of delicious sauce, they gave us lots of grated Parmesan to put on top, and there was so much, each of us got two servings out of of it. That's a lot of food for a little price. We were very happy. We will order from here again. Thank you. UPDATE: we enjoyed the spaghetti so much, we decided to order from here again. My partner ordered a bowl of the mac & cheese, and I went a little bit further. I ordered the crabcake Mac and cheese. I've had lobster mac & cheese, but crab cake? I decided to give it a try. It's on the menu, so it must be good. My Dish also came with a cup of matzo ball soup. The broth was delicious, and. The matzo ball was light and fluffy. It was a floater, not a sinker. If not done right, matzo balls can be real "belly bombs" this was the farthest from that that it could've possibly been. We both liked our mac & cheese very much. It was rich, creamy, and cheesy. For me, the crabcakes actually went very well with the mac & cheese. They played very well together .. For upstate Catskill diner crabcakes? These are among the better crabcakes that I have ever had. You could definitely taste the crab. They were large, rich, and delicious. My partner is a light eater, but she polished off all of her mac & cheese. Mine I saved half of my dish for midnight snack. Always a good meal really have been there so many times and never had a complaint or had to send anything back portions are large plentiful prepared well and tasty. No complaints here.

I love diners!! This place is cute small place that has great portions for a decent price. The staff is nice. Very accommodating & patient with my autistic son who was learning to order his own food. It's short drive from Kartrite water park. This place is the type of setting you see in movies & tv shows of a small town food place.

We swung by on our way to picking up the kiddo from camp. It was cold. It was raining. It was windy. It was miserable. But the food here was warm and good portions. The server was nice and kept us going. They had gluten-free pancakes, so that was great. The seats were a bit torn up, and were showing their age, but everything was clean, and that's what I care about.

Visiting from Southern CA. Went to Catskills area and there is nothing around and since we are visiting, we are not familiar with the place. It was late. We saw this Diner close to our lodging. We ordered breakfast for dinner and I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich/panini. They have a lot of choices in their menu. They give you lots of bacon! Big servings pretty much. Price is reasonable for the meal that we got. Everything is decent. What gets me is the customer service. It was close to their closing time (about 15 mins) and a couple of people walked in and they're welcomed warmly and asked to be seated. Any other places are gonna say "we're closing or kitchen is closing" etc. Our waitress is nice. I will probably never coming back to Monticello or Catskills area again BUT if you read this and need to find a place to eat, come here.

Firstly, this place has to have the biggest menu in America. Literally everything. Everyone was satisfied with their order. Good size portions, and all tasted good. Broiled Seafood combo was just meh. Everything else was really, really good. I especially liked the French onion soup and the chicken quesadilla. The lemon pepper chicken was fire! It was saucy, not dry rub like usual. Definitely something for everybody. The French toast was really good too.
